The Weekend
Friday night we went over to Paul's brother and sister-in-law's house to hang out. Paul and Mike sang karaoke while Pennie and I sat around and drank mimosas. When we got over there, Mike gave us a box that had a 10 piece set of Emeril cookware in it! It was a set that Paul's parents had bought and decided that they didn't like it after only using it once, so they gave it to us! On Saturday morning we were waken up by loud thunder and rain. I immediately started to panic because I was suppose to be at Clothes Rack at 11:00 for my first dress fitting. The rain slacked up just in time for me to leave for my appointment. So my mom and I went to the fitting. When we got there, I put on my dress and they pinned up the bottom to be hemmed and figured out how it needed to be bustled. I love my dress and did not want to take it off! When we left there we went by Jewelry By Design to drop off my wedding band to be Rhodium Plated (turned from yellow to white) and I also dropped off the guard that goes with my engagement ring to be reworked so that the engagement ring fits down in the guard correctly. Sunday, Paul started bulding the shelves in our walk-on closet in the Master bedroom. I cannot wait to get our master suite done! It is going to be so nice! I went over to my grandmother's house Sunday and she gave me my great-grandmother's set of silverware! She said that she thinks that Grandmama would like to know that I had it and everytime that I use it I can think about her. This Saturday is my shower and I am so excited about it! I am constantly stalking my registries to see if anything has been bought yet! Time seems to be going by so fast now! I can't believe that on Wednesday it will be April already! It seems like the next time I blink it will be May!

Truckin' along
Well, things seem to be coming along more and more for the wedding! Last night mom and I sat down and addressed all the wedding invitations! Mom addressed, I stuffed. We sat down and got the template done for the program-fans. Now all we have to do is print them and attach the sticks. They are so cool! I bought my shoes for the wedding yesterday! Mom called me and said that she found a cute pair of fushia ballet flats at the mall, so I went down there on my lunch break and absolutely loved them, so now that's another big check off the list! Our last shipment of wedding supplies came in yesterday also! It was the brown and fushia organza overlays for the tables, personalized beverage napkins, bubbles, flower girl basket and ring bearer pillow. I wasn't really happy with the way the napkins look, but they'll work I guess. The pillow and basket are gorgeous and I love love love the fushia table overlays! If I could have gotten away with it with out Paul complaining about all the pink, I would have done all fushia tables! The brown mixed in will be a good combination though. I can't wait to see it all set up under the tent! Hurry up May!!!

At the Airshow
Saturday, Paul and I took Clete to the Air Show. Well, it wasn't much of a show...it was rainy and foggy, so none of the planes left the ground. We did have lots of fun though! When we got to Auburn, they were making everyone park at Lakeview Baptist Church and ride a shuttle bus to the airport. Clete was not very excited about the bus ride! He kept saying over and over "I don't want to ride the bus! I'm scared!" I looked at Paul and said "What are we going to do?!?! He won't get on the bus!" Paul just picked Clete up and said "Come on Clete, were going to take the bus to see the airplanes." Clete grabbed on to Paul so tight and started saying "I'm not scared, I'm not scared, I'm not scared." It was so funny! Of course once we got on the bus he was fine and everyone got a good laugh as he was pointing out everything we were passing! "There's a playground! There's a slide! There's a tractor! Whoa that was a bump!" Once we got to the airport we enjoyed walking around looking at all the different planes. Clete would point out a plane and say "There's my plane!" or "There's my helicopter!" They had a couple of the helicopters open so you could get up in them. At the first one we came to I asked Clete if he wanted to sit in the helicopter and he said No he was scared. At the next helicopter he decided that he did want to sit in helicopter. When it got to be our turn, I put him up in the back seat and took his picture. When we told him it was time to come out, he jumped over the back seat in to the front and did not want to come out! Paul had to climb up in to the helicopter and get him out! My friend Tonya called right after this and said that she and Lennah were there, so we went to meet them. By this time we were pretty much frozen and I could tell that Clete was getting pretty tired of the whole air show thing. He kept saying that he wanted to slide. So we left the air show, and met Tonya, Lennah and Lennah's dad Paul at Chick-fil-A. We ate lunch and let Clete and Lennah Play in the indoor playground for a while. Clete finally got to his slide! They were having so much fun and did not want to leave when we said it was time to go. We all had such a fun, exciting day, I think we probably all went home and took long naps!
Paul and Clete going to check out the big plane!

Isn't it May Yet?!?!
I am growing more and more impatient as the days go by! I am so ready for May to be here I can hardly stand it! I love seeing the number on my countdown clock getting smaller everyday! As of right now it says there are 71 Days, 14 Hours and 10 Minutes left until May 23!! Invitaions are out for the shower that my aunts are having for me on April 4! I cannot wait! I appreciate them doing this for me so much and I know it is going to be so much fun! I'm sure by now the UPS man is growing very tired of delivering boxes to my parents house! They have made deliveries at least 2-3 times a week for the past two weeks and there is still one more to come! I love seeing all this stuff come in! I have always had a picture in my head of what the ceremony and reception will be like, but actually seeing all this stuff in person makes it so much easier to imagine. I can't wait to see it all put together the day of the wedding! I ordered some t-shirts for me and Paul to wear on the honeymoon. They came in last week and are so cute! I'll have to try to remember to take some pictures of them this weekend. We have an exciting weekend ahead of us! Saturday morning we are going to pick up Clete and take him to the Fly-In at the airport. Tonya and Lennah will be meeting us there! After we drop Clete back off at home, we will be going to East Alabama Motor Speedway to watch Paul's friend race in the first race of the season! Good Luck Jason! I know going to the dirt track sounds like a pretty redneck thing to do, but don't knock it till you've tried it! I went to one race and a practice last year and really had more fun than I thought I would! I'm hoping that the weather will be pretty on Sunday afternoon so we can go to the park and have some engagement pictures taken! The Engagement Announcement should be going in the paper and the wedding invitations should be going out the first week in April! We better get busy addressing those envelopes!

Well, there's really nothing new and exciting to report on right now. I just figured I'd post since I haven't posted any in over a week. Wedding preparations are still rolling along! My mom and I sat down last night and ordered the overlays for the tables, bubbles, flower girl basket, ring bearer pillow, napkins, fan programs, paper lanterns, and the tussy mussies for my boquet and the mothers' flowers. As of today, we have 79 days left! Time seems to be going by faster and faster! I can't wait for May to be here so we can be out of this planning stage! I am ready to get married and spend a fun filled week at Disney World with my new husband!
