WhoooHoooo!!!! We're going to Disney World!!

Paul and I have decided that we are going to Disney World for our Honeymoon!! Disney has opened back up the 'Pay for 4 nights get 3 for free' promotion and it's just too good of a deal to pass up! The package we are getting includes a room at one of the Disney resorts for 7 nights, 7 day Park Hopper passes for each of us, one quick service meal per person per day, one table service meal per person per day and one snack per person per day for less than $2000!! Anyone who has ever been to Disney knows how much just the food is in the parks (just a quick service meal for lunch could cost you $15-20), so for this to include all of our food, hotel and park admission is an outstanding deal! Of course Paul is pretty disappointed about not getting to eat at Angelo's since we will not be going to the beach, but I told him I would make it up to him by taking him for his birthday in September! I love going to the beach, but I just think Disney will make for a much more memorable Honeymooon! It's like I told Paul, I would rather do something for our honeymoon that we will not get a chance to do again for a really long time, if ever. We can go to the beach pretty much anytime! Paul has never been to Disney World and I can't wait to see his reactions to everything as he experiences all of the "Disney Magic" for the first time! I am soooooo excited!!! Can you tell?? :)

100 Days and Counting!

As of today there are 100 days left until the wedding! On one hand, it seems like the time is going by so slow and I want it to hurry up and get here. On the other hand, I'm worried about having enough time to get everything done! Paul keeps telling me not to stress over everything, that it will all come together like it is suppose to. He's always trying to cheer me up when he knows I'm stressed out. Sometimes he is successful and sometimes he isn't, but just the fact that he cares enough to try means the world to me! Actually, when I stop to think, I've never dated anyone who cares so much about what I think and how I feel like Paul does. I guess that's one reason why I'm marrying him! Anyway, I thought that today I would post some pictures of our "family".

This is me and Paul on our trip to the beach last year for my birthday.

This is Tito; our hyperactive child. (He's currently still living with my grandmother until we can get some sort of fence up in the backyard.)

This is Griffin; our very strong willed child.

And last but not least...This is Pheonix, or PhenPhen as we call him. He's cuddler of the group.

Well, that's our Family! Everyone have a happy hump day!

The Beginning...

Hi Everyone! This is my first attempt at a blog and I'm not real sure where to start! Paul and I are currently planning our wedding, which will take place on May 23, 2009, so this will most likely be a wedding planning blog til then. As of today we have 102 days left! We've pretty much gotten everything planned out, just have to finalize a few things. We will be getting married at Paul's Brother and Sister-in-law's house. It will be an outdoor ceremony under a white tent with White, Pink and green paper lanterns hanging from the top of the tent. The backdrop for where we will be standing to say our vows will be a trifold iron screen that has 39 votive candle holders in it and a "waterfall" of flowers hanging from the top of the tent. The Bridesmaids' dresses are knee length chocolate brown with apple green sash and trim. The guys will be wearing Khaki suits. We will be using White, Pink and Orange Gerbera Daisies, White Hydrangeas and Green Button Mums for all the flowers. We have hired an awesome harpist, Melaney Jones out of Auburn, to play all of our ceremony music! I am so excited about that! My mom and I went and met with her last week and she played all the ceremony music I had picked and it was absolutely beautiful! For the reception we will be having Mini BBQ sandwiches, different kinds of dips with chips and crackers, a few kinds of fruit with cream cheese fruit dip and vegetables with ranch dip, cheese straws, white chocolate covered pecans, plain mixed nuts and maybe some chocolate chex mix. The groom's cake will be red velvet and a cheese cake. The Bride's cake will be one teir of vanilla pound cake with chocolate buttercream icing and two teirs of chocolate pound cake with chocolate buttercream icing. My bridesmaids are my two sisters, Tiffany and Taylor. Paul's groomsmen are his two brothers, Mike and Lark. Our Flower Girl will be my friend Tonya's beautiful daughter, Lennah and our Ring Bearer will be my adorable cousin, Clete. Lennah is 3 and Clete will be turning 3 on Sunday! They are going to be so adorable walking down the aisle together! Well, I guess that's it for now! I'm sure there will be more I will think of later! Everyone have a wonderful Monday!
